c. Students must be in good standing with a local AG church and/or youth ministry.

2. Kappa Tau Age Requirements
a. Those who have graduated and are 18-22 years of age as of September 1, 2023, are eligible to participate.
b. Make sure you select the “Kappa Tau” only categories.
3. How many categories can someone participate in?
a. We recommend doing no more than 3 categories.
b. A participant or group of participants may not enter the same category twice within a division.
4. HOW DO I REGISTER FOR NETWORK FINE ARTS?
a. Students must register with their home church. Students may not participate with multiple churches or with churches or Networks/Districts other than their own. If the student is in good standing with more than one AG church or youth ministry, he/she must select only one home church with which to participate.
b. Participant Registration Forms will be available on tgymfinearts.org. This form must be submitted to your church’s Fine Arts Leader by the date they assign. Mailing address is on the form.
c. You can also register online. We recommend registering online because it makes the process easier for you and for us.
5. HOW DO I GET A RULE BOOK?
a. The Fine Arts Festival Official Rule Book comes from the National Fine Arts Office and contains detailed information about each category, such as rules/guidelines for that specific division. Each participant is responsible to read and agree to abide by the rules listed in the Rule Book. Download it for free at tgymfinearts.org
6. HOW ARE THE ENTRIES EVALUATED?
a. Three qualified evaluators, chosen for their education, expertise, and impartiality will evaluate each presentation by using the following general criteria: selection, communication, presentation, technique, and effectiveness. More specific criteria and guidelines for each category can be found at faf.ag.org.
7. IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
a. There is no specific dress code for any category; however, modest attire is required for all entries.
8. WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
a. All presentation materials (soundtrack on phone or MP3 player, props, instruments, etc.), and anything you may need to practice with (portable speaker, etc.).
9. WHAT EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED?
a. TGYM will provide the same equipment as is provided at the National Festival with the exception of puppet stages (If this is your category, please contact us beforehand). Check the NFAF Rule Book for the provided equipment in the description for each category.
b. For presentations requiring audio, the NFAF only provides 3.5mm (¹⁄8 ”) (standard headphone jack) audio plugs. Participants are responsible for bringing a suitable device with a 3.5 mm (¹⁄8 ”) audio jack, or the appropriate “dongle” adapter in order to play their tracks. USB drives, CDs, and soundtracks that require Wi-Fi or a streaming service are not accommodated or allowed. Bluetooth speakers are not allowed in any category.
10. HOW WILL I KNOW IF I HAVE ADVANCED TO NATIONALS?
a. Only presentations that receive a Superior with Invitation (score of 36-40) at the Network Fine Arts Festival are eligible for the National Fine Arts Festival. Your church’s Fine Arts Leader will receive all evaluation results after the completion of the Network Festival.
